Infant Wraps

We have had the privilege of helping to give out infant wraps to many women here at the evangelism brigades that we work at. We have had money from Christ the King to help make these wraps, Sharon Boone and her church group have made and sent many, and the ladies at Maple Bay Free Lutheran Church have made many wraps for these Honduran women. We are so thankful that you have partnered with us to accomplish this ministry.

The women must carry their children for so many things here and do not have the luxury of a stroller or any other type of baby carrier. These wraps provide a way for the women to accomplish what they need to with their two hands, provide close time with their babies, and for it to be accomplished in a better way for their back and shoulders. Tuesday, Jamie handed out 10 infant wraps at the brigade and below are some pictures. Tomorrow, Friday, Jamie is going to hand more out at the brigade and we know that it will be a special blessing. Pray for a wonderful day as it is our last day of brigades for long time! We are headed back to MN this coming Wednesday!

Jamie showing Melissa how the wrap works
Melissa Gomez (16 years old) and her 3 month old baby Riccy

Kelli Rivera and her very cute son Kellin who is 1 month old!

Lourdes demonstrating with Glenda that her hands are free!
Denny showing a 15 year old mother how the wrap works.

Jamie showing Doris how to put the wrap on.
Nancy, a wonderful translator and Christian, showing how the wrap works.
Nancy has volunteered countless hours working with me to go and minister to families and do much of the work we have been called here to do. If we are able to get some vocational training started here, Nancy will be running it!
