Well.....I finally came out and...
I'M A GIRL!!!!It was not a fun transition for me. For weeks now my home has been periodically squeezing me, even though I did nothing wrong. Well on Saturday night my little home started squeezing me BIG time! I was minding my own business stretching my legs into mom's ribs and it kept getting worse. It was every 5-7 minutes, which for me was kind of inconvenient. My parents and I left Grandpa and Grandma's house at about 7:30pm and by midnight those squeezes were about every 2 minutes, making my heart rate drop every time. That made mom, dad, and my doctor get a little nervous.
At 1:43 am I decided that if mom mommy's belly doesn't want me anymore, then perhaps I don't want to be there either. So I popped out to meet my daddy. He is pretty cool, but he cut that fun rope that connected me to mom. I really liked playing with that thing, so much I had it wrapped around my cute little foot. Mom took me back and I found out that I really like MILK! I was made to drink that stuff. I weighed in at 7lbs 13oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Mommy kept telling me she thought that I would be bigger, but I will be soon at the rate I like drinking milk.
Mommy and Daddy named me
Adelyn Juliette Schroeder. My middle name is after my grandma Julie, who I can't wait to meet in ten days. You can call me Addi if you want too. I had a big day yesterday because besides being born, I got to meet lots of new family and friends. I even got to meet both my great grandparents.
We made our way to Grandpa and Grandma Wikoff's house this afternoon and this place is HUGE. I thought that the hospital room was ginormous, but this house takes the cake. Reed and Ella are pretty cool, but scary. They get right over top of me and they are kinda big. Ella is very sweet to me and keeps talking to me, touching my hand, singing me songs (my favorite is, "I'm your big sister") and laughing. I think that I will get along with her good! More to come later, I've been a little tired lately so I think I'll go take another nap!

Daddy...you did an awesome job keeping mommy relaxed and going strong! By the way, thanks for the being my personal paparazzi and helping mommy through those big squeezes, Lulu! It was very fun to have you and Grandma Kim there to welcome me into this big big world!
